I really hoped the mark vi will have the proximity sensor fixed. unfortunately, it has not, phone s screen still activates itself in the pocket.

I own a mark iv and this bug has been a nightmare. the only fix is to switch off the double tap to wake screen, a feature that I have used with all my previous phones.

I tested the mark vi in a sony shop and it has the same problem. Sad, other than that the phone is great.

Far too expensive for not much of an upgrade from the V, telephoto is still soft at the long end .The macro focusing seems all over the place because of the shallow depth of field, no video pro app until android 15 in December all the rest of the upgrades are just catch up to what other manufactures already offer, the biggest disappointment is Sony sticking with this old sensor, it should have been upgraded to the one inch sensor for this price point, im so disappointed in Sony after being an xperia user for over ten years i will probably move on because to me Sony doesn't give a damn about their fanbase which has kept xperia alive.

Sorry … the 1 vi is a downgrade on last years brilliant 1v … if you value battery life over quality then it’s great .. but there are very cheap android phones that have great battery life . The video showcase is basically a car salesman trying to sell a ford focus !
