So the reason both of the girls are fighting is because of him. It's not really a romantic reason, but its more of a sense of defending what they believe is right for him. Taiga represents emotion while Sumire represents logic.

Always interpreted this as Taiga seeing Sumire as a past version of herself for letting Kitamura get away after he confessed his feelings to her. Which is why Taiga is beating her up. Because she wants to beat herself up.

Torodora, truly triumphs when it comes to both subs and dub at the same time. Both Rie Kugimiya and Cassandra Lee Morris were legendary as Taiga because they put their whole heart on one character to come to life. Therefore, whenever anyone says who my favorite role from Kugimiya and Morris, I say it is Taiga from Toradora. Nothing can beat something that was so incredible!❤❤❤
