Hi everyone, Pien here! (Transformation 2) I am so honoured to be mentioned in this video. You were right, I have used accutane for several months because no other product worked for me. I have tried several types of medication that didn't work for me. Accutane helped me the most, but I also stayed consistent with using skincare. If you're reading this and you struggle with acne, I would recommend starting with a simple skincare routine. Finding a cleanser, a moisturiser and a sunscreen that works for you can help immensely. I am not licensed so I can only tell you what worked for me, but if you have questions my dm's are always open. Once again thank you Hyram for all the work you do and for your kind words <3

I just finished Accutane about 2 months ago after suffering with moderate acne for 15+ years, definitely was worth it in *MY* case. I was terrified of all the negative things I've heard about it but proceeded with caution, used lots of Aquaphor and had very minimal side effects (chapped lips, dry skin, blood in nose but not nose bleeds...). It's still holding strong and hasn't gone back to what it was. Super thankful to my dermatologist that started me off slow on small doses and never went over I believe 60mg and followed me closely during each step of the way! Life changing for sure and was worth trying out after going through every OTC products and trying birth control, topicals (that I ended up having allergies to), etc.

Tretinoin transformed my skin!! Thanks to you who first got me into skincare. Now I’m an avid sunscreen girlie thank you!! ❤

I love how Hyram is so sweet and instead of saying her or his acne is so bad. He instead says her or his acne looks so painful showing that he is a nice and generous person.😊

I use the CeraVe hydrating cleanser and I love it. My skin feels clean but doesn’t leave me tight and dry like many other cleansers do. I really think it’s better for dryer skin types; if you’re oily or have a strong oily component to your combination skin it might not be for you.

Would love to hear you talk about influencer ads/FTC guidelines/transparency because I feel like some of these influencers are out here just LYING and there’s literally no way to tell. Would love the insider tea

I feel so bad for these girls... I couldn't even imagine having a bad of an acne problem let alone being young and in school with that issue? My heart goes out to them and it is really nice to see the transformation I wish every person that has these problems could get the right products and start to love themselves❤❤❤

Hi! Thanks to your advice, Hyram I transformed my skin as well. I had an overdose of Vitamin B12 (I didn't even need it so my body took it out) which caused acne all over my face when I'd never had those issues during my teenage years. It infected and went to the dermatologist to get antibiotics. Infection was gone, but acne stayed. At the beginning of the pandemic I found your channel. I can only say: "Thank you SO much!" You saved my skin. Really hope you continue growing as you have ❤ Wishing you more tons of success 💪

The young lady using azelaic acid used the 15% prescription only medication, not an OTC brand.

I have finally found relief. My doctor prescribed spironolactone orally and a 15% azelaic acid/4% niacinamide cream. I've also been using on top the gold bond age renew retinol lotion. Been using the cerave hydrating cleanser bar.

I like the cerave hydrating facial cleanser but I only use it in shower and after I used their SA one. Just the SA was drying me out so I had to start using something after to rinse it off. I use your Centella and Green tea as my twice a day cleanser <3 Love it!

I've been using Tretinoin for 4 months my skin is still purging, but it is much, much better than when I first started. I also started Spironalactone 100mg 5 weeks ago. My skin is getting better each day, but not clear yet. I'm sticking with it though.

I have dry skin and thought the cereve hydrating cleanser would be great for me. I absolutely hate it though. I just don’t feel like it does much for cleansing my skin. I do however love the hydrating cleansing bar. I just keep mine in a case to prevent as much bacteria build up as possible but it is 10x’s better than the liquid cleanser in the bottle. Love ya hyram!

Since so many people need recommendations in the comments, I made a list.

Exfoliators (only exfoliate 1x to 2x a week):
-Cerave SA cleanser
-Paula's choice 2% Bha liquid exfoliant
-the ordinary gylcolic toner

For acne:
-differin cleanser
-Cerave SA cleanser
-cerave acne cleanser (yes they have a line for acne, it's different from the SA line)
-byoma clarifying serum (for acne) or brightening serum (for brightening but has niacinimide which helps calm the skin)
(Note: for acne prone skin. Probably best to not use on same day as acne cleanser cause of irritation. Use next day with regular face cleanser, not acne one)

Cleansers for dry skin/combo/sensitive skin:
-Cerave hydrating cleanser
-cetaphil cleanser for sensitive skin
-la Roche posay cleanser (white bottle)
-Tacha (purple) rice cleanser (expensive but a DREAM for dry skin)

Cleansers for oily skin:
-cerave foaming cleanser
-la Roche posay cleanser (blue bottle, forgot the name)
-bubble cleanser? (Not sure if for oily skin)

Serums:
-Byoma hydrating serum
-bubble vitamin c serum
-the ordinary multipeptide serum (formerly "the buffet")

Moisturizers:
-cerave moisturizer
-neutrogena gel moisturizer (blue jar, make sure it says "no fragrance")
-cetaphil moisturizer
-byoma moisturizers (pink: oily skin, purple: dry skin)
-la Roche posay various moisturizers (toleriane line is great for sensitive skin)

Eye cream:
-cetaphil eye cream (works well for sensitive skin)
-cerave eye cream
(Still looking for a good eye cream tbh)

Sunscreen:
-Drugstore sunscreens (cheap, but works. May leave a white cast)
-super goop sunscreen (expensive)

9:33 honestly from all I’ve heard you’ve basically got a 50/50 chance of purging and like having that knowledge and expectation I think makes a huge difference
