What we know about the Pentagon document leak suspect

The Justice Department says Jack Teixeira, a 21-year-old airman in the Massachusetts Air National Guard, is the man responsible for leaking dozens of classified documents in an online chat group. National security correspondent David Martin has more from the Pentagon.

Air National Guard leaking classified info is like a crossing guard selling stuff out of the State Police evidence locker. I don't know if he did it, but if he did there are much bigger problems on how it was possible. This story is just weird.

The question is, "Who was the security manager who released this information to the young Airman and failed to ensure its control and safekeeping?" It had to be a Senior NCO, Officer or high ranking Civil Service Employee with a Secret Clearance or higher.

Rookie mistake. When I share classified documents, I always make sure to obscure my IP address using the TOR Network. Additionally, I never forget to encrypt all my files before sending.
