Although many naysayers will still believe what they want, at least the information is documented and primary. (just a note- The 'f' in the middle of the 1700s newspapers is an old-style 's'. Hence the Island is Guernsey, rather than Guernfey. I would never have known this if my Dad hadn't told me, so there you have it!)

This is facts there was many black empires throughout Europe in the DARK ages. Just check the coat of arms all depicted black people. Great video

This is so true. In fact King Arthur was actually a large black man. William Wallace was black. The famous Black Watch Highland soldiers and pipers were historically all black men. In historical fact Queen Elizabeth was from black African ancestry. The men who flew and defeated the German Luftwaffe during WWII Battle of Britain were mostly black pilots. History tends to hide the truth.

This was a fantastic video. My folks are from Jamaica and it fascinates me that the surname we use today is probably the same name we've always used throughout the ages.
There is a strong Irish connection on my Grandmothers side so there's every chance his grandfather/great grandfather arrived in Jamaica or America as an indentured servant, whereas we always assumed that it was a slave name!

I appreciate this series. My family is from Barbados and the island is/was known as ‘Little England.’ I have always suspected than not all of the black peoples came directly from Africa. I believe many came by way of England.
