My friend introduced me to the Ramones in 1986 and they pretty much changed my life. I realized then that there was so much great music out there that wasn't popular. I was fortunate to have seen them live more times than I can even count and even went to record signing they did for when they were touring for Brain Drain. I was so thrilled because Joey made a comment about the shirt I was wearing. It saddens me that they are gone now and that they never really saw how successful that they became. They are true legends and one of the most under rated rock bands of all time
