I’ll be ordering these too. I wear my AirPods everyday and often for longer than 4hrs. The 6hrs will make a huge difference plus the better noice cancelling since I work in a loud environment. I hope the call quality is the same or better because people don’t even know if I’m working when using my AirPods Pro. The same can’t be said for the Bose qc35s or Sony wf1000mx4’s which don’t silence the noise around me. The Bose were fine but the Sonys click to the caller. My Powerbeats pro are just ok. In noisier environments it makes my voice quite low to the person I’m speaking too which is surprising since it also has the h1 chip. Let’s hope the new pro 2s can sound just as good as the Powerbeats

Given that there has to be a surface from which some direct control must be available, having a stem is essential and a feature rather than a problem. Volume control was a major issue with the previous versions and I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these!

I got these right when they came out and I've been through many other wireless headphones and the pros are still by far the best set I own. I am excited to get these come Friday.

Strange that Adaptive Transparency was already a feature on the first generation AirPods Pro but didn’t have a name or Apple never talk about it, I noticed when walking around the city a lot of high pitch noises like horns or car brake screeching will activate ANC. I bet Apple just put it in there just to test and perfect it.

I don’t understand how the AirPods can support the Apple Watch charger but the Apple Watch can’t be charged on a regular wireless charger

I think I might stick to my Airpod pro 1st gen. However, that extra 6 hours of battery life and that new volume gesture is very tempting. Can’t decide but for now I’ll keep my money.

Finally they added a Lanyard holder. This is something that we need on these types of devices

These are the star of the show for me, the phones aren’t that different from my iPhone 12, the ultra watch isn’t really for me and too dam big, urgently have a series 4 and it’s still running like a champ. The Air pods pro 2 have some nice upgrades and I use my current AP pro every day. Podcasts, music at the gym etc, some of these upgrades will be utilised massively. I’m pretty certain I will get these

The Personal Spatial Audio isn't new, I've got it with my first gen AirPods Pro and I got it a few months ago with an update in the iOS 16 beta.

Personalized Spatial Audio isn’t exclusive to the AirPods Pro 2. It was announced with iOS 16 at WWDC and will work with the AirPods Pro 1 as well.

im glad they stuck with the stem design. For some reason earbuds without stem just looks weird to me.

Would be cool if Apple used the same colors for airpods as they do with iphones. Regular AirPods would have same colors as regular iPhone 14 and Pro same as 14 Pro. Gold, Purple or Space Grey AirPods Pro would look better than just white.
