Apple's AirPods Pro ship with silicone tips that fit inside the ears, but people who prefer the tighter or more comfortable fit of foam have been modding their earbuds to add a foam layer. That's no longer necessary, as well-known earphone tips company Comply is now shipping its foam tips that are compatible with AirPods Pro.

We picked up a pair of the new Comply Foam Tips for ‌AirPods Pro‌ and tested them out in our latest YouTube video to see how they fit and whether they're an improvement over the silicone tips that the ‌AirPods Pro‌ ship with.

TRY THIS: Open your jaw and pull up the top part of your ear then insert airpods. It's a game changer, it opens your canal and you get a crazy good fit. The earbuds stay in better and makes a better seal.

While traveling domestically in June, my AirPods 2 w/ Wireless Charging Case somehow ended up in an empty fast food bag, which was thrown away at an airport 600+ miles from home. After hearing mixed reviews both online and from friends, I decided to take the risky step and get the Pros. Long story short, I completely regretted it - I loved the sound quality and the noise cancellation, but am very physically active. The fact that they didn’t stay in my ears while doing simple activity, such as walking or running, was a dealbreaker for me. Over the past few months, I had considered going back to the AirPods 2, but heard that these memory foam tips really helped to keep the Pros in the ears. I decided to go with them, and am so glad that I did. They’re a total game changer - better noise cancellation and I rarely need to adjust them (even after an hour of HIIT). Plus, mine were around $8 on Amazon after a company coupon! So, yes - YOU NEED THEM and you’ll love them.

Comply foam is really good for comfort and sound isolation (i’ve used them with other headphones for years). They are much better than other cheaper foam tips. the problem is their cost vs lifespan. they cost quite a bit and do not last. after a while the foam falls apart and before that, the isolation affect of the form decreases.

I bought these and now I think I get why apple used silicon tips instead of foam. They are WAY EASIER to clean if they get dirty (which most likely will because of wax, even if it's a really small amount). With the silicon tips, you can just kind of wash it off, with foam tips you can wash them too, but then they are not as effective, and some wax will still enter the foam itself after months of usage.

If you are ok with buying foam tips every few months, then buy them, otherwise it's really not worth it, they'll get dirty eventually

Some one show these to MKBHD so his AirPods would be all black.

How do the size of the Comply tips for AirPod Pro compare with the regular Comply tip size, for instance their smart core series?

I have memory foam tips from another company and I loved it. however the part that connects to the pod loosens over the time and now the tip tend to get stuck in my ears whenever removing them... ill try to apply the memory foam under the original silicone tips instead of just throwing them away

I used these for 2-3 years straight, but man am I tired of shelling out for new tips every couple of months. Switching to AirPods without ear tips, as I can’t stand the silicone tips.

Do these comply tips have a NRR?

Only thing stopping me from buying the Airpod Pro2s are using power tools and sometimes loud work environment

I have a pair of memory foam tips, but they reduce the noise cancellation. Why would these be better?

$24.99 is only $5 more than the normal tips. Maybe the general consumer thinks its a lot but if you're familiar with premium headphone gear its not a crazy price. I've used Comply tips for years, they are great quality. I spend $20 bucks every 6 months on tips for my headphones. (replace the tips every 2 months or less for cleanliness)

I listen music or podcast while working about 8 hours a day, the working environment is loud af, I just use the 3m earplugs provided by the boss as eartips on any in-ear earphones, works better than those pro

My issue is that the AirPod pros fallout of my ears, no matter which size tip I use. Will the foam type help solve this problem?

I bought some foam tips (not comply) and found the opposite. Long play sessions hurt my ears, where as the silicone tips do not. They also make a horrid noise when shifting in your ear slightly.
