I feel like a weapon that might also have deserved to be mentioned would be the blade Durendal/Durandal. Said to be the sword of Hector of Troy before its most famous wielder, the paladin Roland, its blade was said to be as durable and sacred as the swords Excalibur, Joyeuse (Charlemagne's sword) and Curtana the Short. The blade was held to be indestructible, with folklore stating that in his final hours after the ambush at Roncevaux/Roncesvalles, Roland attempted to destroy the blade over stone. Instead, he cut a pass through the area so wide that it has come to be named after him, while the blade remained as pristine as ever. Determined not to let the blade fall into enemy hands, Roland then threw Durandal into a nearby river that had been poisoned recently, and immediately afterward expired.

From the sources i've read, Zulfiqar is just the sharpest sword there is. That's it. It is said to cut through rocks with only a single swing. BUT there is nothing mystical in it. And Ali Ibn Abi Thalib was the strongest man there was. In the war at Khaybar fortress, it is said that amidst the war Ali lost his shield and he instead ripped a big metal door in the fortress and used it as a shield until the war was over. The door was so heavy that even 8 men was unable to lift it. Hence the talismanic inscription in ottoman "There's no hero like Ali, There's no sword like Zulfiqar".
But would it gouge a hole into the earth? No fucking way. It's just the sharpest sword wielded by the strongest man. No more, no less.

Although Excalibur itself is powerful enough to make on this list, being a sword that was unbeatable, Aurther's true best armourment as his scabbard. It was an item that, as long as he had it, would make him immortal. Theoretically, it is a "weapon" that could replace Excalibur as the #1 spot.
