In Pennsylvania in the USA, I took my son to DuPont hospital and had him tested and diagnosed with FASD. We had him diagnosed before we adopted him which made it easier for us because his bio mom was still involved. We continued to let her visit with him. (Not an open adoption)

Thank you. This is a serious issue in my poor rural community at Western pennsylvania. I really wish people didn't drink during pregnancy in my area. Thank you for explaining about the IQ because where I live it's believed that everyone with autism has an IQ of below 70. You can't get Autism Services unless your IQ is below 70. The area I live in is very backward and very obsessed with iqs. They will not help you unless you take an IQ test and has to be below a certain score or they deny you services. I have some of these issues with mild autism. Even though it's not the same disability. Thank you

I likely have FASD, hopeless at mathematics and history. I can draw and paint, weirdly I seem to be able to handle money and plan my journeys effectively. Im very organised. However, bad at socializing and sensory input.
