This is clip is many years old, so if you want to know the news about the whale - and there's a lot of news! - there's a new documentary about a crew that went looking for this whale.
Spoiler: They recorded more than one whale singing at 52hz 90 miles apart at the same time and even filmed one. It's not just one whale, they're several blue whale - fin whale hybrids and nobody knows how many there are.

My question would be how do they know it never got an answere? Maybe the answere wasn't in the same pitch? I mean humans have different high and deep voices. And if someone with a very high voice talks the person opposite doesn't always immitate the same pitch for the answere... (Or say the exact same thing as the other person)
