I look forwards with great relish to Nigel Farage's first speech in the EU parliament when it restarts after the elections. I can only imagine that many more EU sceptic MEPs from other countries will also cause great dismay to the federalists in the EU.

Why do most countries vote on a Sunday if they hope for a higher turnout? Surely that's the worst day of the week for an election, isn't it?
Also, why do you call the European Council the "Council of the UE"? it is the "Council of the Eu" or "European Council", isn't it?
