Nearly 20 years later, and people still find ways to enhance Pokemon Emerald. Im glad you went one step further and were able to incorporate puzzles into the event.

These older pokemon games mirror ssbmelee. In the way that a decade+ after release, and through multiple new games, they continue to inspire people to play them, experiment with them, and create new things based upon them. You've done all 3 here, well done

While I love the Nintendo E-Reader, I must say the fact that you have a love for the gen 3 games as strong as you do is amazing to me. It literally looks impossible to do this to me and it is baffling that you've accomplished what you have, and for that thank you. I wish the mainline games would experiment with events like this. Specifically, the puzzle that unlocked Unown as an encounter on Route 113. I always thought it'd be neat if, instead of rare encounters that only popped up at a 1% appearance rate, it'd be cool if there were side quests where you could engage with certain activities around the world that cause certain Pokémon to appear in a zone. It'd give more engagement with the world and give you more of a reason to revisit older areas.
