You captured your horses frolicking in the snow with the beautiful mountains in the backdrop. That scene is just lovely.

Ziggy is such a gorgeous fellow! I'm so glad that he's your husband's favorite, as well as your audience's. Thanks for taking us along on your first seriously snowy day!

Ziggy is daring to believe he is home where he wants to follow you around. Thankfully your husband told you that Ziggy was his favorite horse now. Ziggy didn’t really want to go anywhere. I love the music you play when he is running. He is a really magnificently cool horse.

What a beautiful scene with the horses playing, the clouds hanging over the mountains and the sun on the snow.

Thanks for playing ”Ziggy music”. Scarlet is a Diva. Thanks for sharing the video with us. We love all of it. You do have a lot on your plate with these horses. One will come along when the time is right, just like the ones you have.❤

I loved watching Ziggy jumping around as if he was telling Scarlet - "What, you think you're so good? Watch this!!!" He is such a beautiful horse. Scarlet is such a gorgeous mover too.🥰

Now that Ziggy is running around, Scarlett is just standing there like a fuddy-duddy.

Love the middle eastern music for Ziggy! He's so cute and fuzzy. I love it when horses get their winter coats!

Beautiful scene with Ziggy and Scarlett in the foreground playing, the geldings in the back milling about, and the sun on the snowy mountains.

Ziggy's coat looks so soft. Like a kitty cat. He maybe older, but he can still turn on a dime. The evening skyline was supremely beautiful. ❤

You GO Ziggy! You can't teach an old horse new tricks, 'cause he already knows them! He is looking wonderful! ...and Nigel, my heart ❤. I know he's a bit of a pistol but that's part of what makes him so endearing.

Seems like Ziggy is giving, Scarlett a taste of what she does to him. She sure IS strong willed.

Friends of mine had an old Morgan stallion that wasn’t always catchable and they asked me to train him to be reliably caught. I used a pushing technique (it’s how the Native Americans caught wild horses). When he wouldn’t come up to me I made him move away from me, as fast as I could make him go. After about 45 minutes he gave up. The next day it was a much shorter time, and by the end of the week he came right up to me as soon as he saw me at the gate. I also gave him a treat when I caught him and I give treats to horses when I turn them out, before and after removing the halter. My Haflinger is the only horse I’ve had that got nippy with treats, so I put his treats on the ground. If I’m working with a horse that will bolt while removing the halter, I put two or three halters on them with the lead rope (or even a lunge line) on the bottom halter. Then I take the halters off one at a time so they never know when they are loose. They can’t be allowed to pull away and bolt - it’s dangerous. I know someone whose horse kicked her in the head when she turned him loose. She had brain and facial injuries and lost an eye.

I finally figured it out--Nigel is not a horse--he is a buffalo! (1:21) He is perfectly in his element in the snow, and it also explains his big, big attitude. He is master of the northern plains and answers to none....
