Randomly looking for good troubleshooting videos and I found this channel. Sadly, some are saying that the creator passed away. According to the comments, he leaves behind children, which is really sad. What is fantastic is that he lives on with this channel and I hope his children get to see their father as often as they would like through his videos. He can educate them from beyond the grave and that is admirable. Thank you so much for caring. I thought it would be harder but you made it simple to do. Not only are we paying a lot to pay an electrician for half a days work for a burner, but which electrician unless he is need of work will want to only work for half a days. Most of the time he will be busy and not have any time to go do a small job like that. So it makes sense to learn to fix the small stuff ourselves and hire out for the bigger jobs.

Oh my gosh!!! My element won't turn off and it was beginning to melt my refrigerator! I hurried and carefully pulled the stove out and unplugged it!!! Great info! I think electric stoves are crap and gas is the way to go unfortunately that's not a choice we all can control. I had a burner that stopped working, this before finding your video. I opened the the burner top and looked at the non working burner and right off the bat I noticed a wire had separated from the crimp connector! I restored that connection and my burner now works! With this video instruction, I would have read open on the meter when checking the element! Thanks for the simplicity of this video I will recommend it to anyone that needs to troubleshoot an electric range. Thanks again!
