How to play Hanon with a Formula I speed #shorts
Показать описание
I am starting a new series using a YouTube #shorts feature. This lesson provides you with drastic tips for playing Hanon-like passages.
These tips apply to any passages of five notes played in a row. Fallen 5th finger knuckle joint is a common problem, and a suggestion here to tilt the hand towards the thumb often helps to fix it immediately.
Co-contraction appears when using flexors and extensors at the same time, in other words when you lift each finger high after the hit. It is often recommended by teachers because it helps to achieve a better sound precision short-term, but it’s a very dangerous habit long-term. It also slows you down so you will always be able to play only 70% of your potential, while getting tired like of 200%.
“Leaning towards the bottom of the key” sensation is very important for piano playing. Concentrate on the sensation of a free arm weight, which would naturally fall down if not the finger that leans toward the key, preventing this falling down. While searching for this “leaning” sensation that should provide us with comfort in the arm and stability in fingers, it’s important to avoid an additional effort, not pushing or pressing the key extra.
And one of the most essential and rarely mentioned tips is reinforcing weaker fingers like 4,5 with the micro in-the-keyboard-movement.
