RC Giant Scale Consolidated B-24 Liberator / 'Homeward Angel'

This is my friend's Don Smith 146" Giant Scale B-24 Liberator. It is a beautiful piece of model building. There are four O/S 110 4-stroke engines, 23 servos, and around 15,000 hand printed rivets. It has won several awards and is always a joy to video & photograph.

Shot in 4K on a Sony AX55 camcorder with an external RODE microphone. It was very windy that day so there is a considerable amount of wind noise. Even with a "dead cat", it's hard to avoid.

Enjoy

00:44 - Take Off.
01:38 - Pop gear up.
02:08 - Bomb drop!!
03:51 - PERFECT landing!!

Hello there, awesome plane. Was wondering if you could help. We are looking for a display model of F-7A ( modified B-24) to be kept at a crash site memorial. Have looked up may sellers and the biggest i have found is 110 inches wingspan from VQ warbirds. The one in this video is 146 inches. Looking for non flyable model to be kept as display. Help me honor the fallen men.
