This person should get a contract for advertising this model kit because he has done a great job and the airfix model kit company is going to have a lot of customers who would want to buy this model kit

Great video. One point to make though. The leading edges of the wings are rubber deicing boots, they would not be weathered with chipped paint. They would stay black or rubber in colour. These rubber deicing boots appeared on the B-17, B-24, B-29 and C-47 and C-54

I was in Dallas about 15 years ago and visited the Commemorative Air Force museum. I saw their B-24 come in to land and taxi to the hangar I was standing at, coolest sight ever. Nice build btw!

This is one impressive kit in terms of the level of detail. Its on par with models ive seen from other manufacturers. Haven't built a big bomber in years but if i had the storage space, i would certainly consider getting this one.

Real nice build on this American bomber. As an American myself the Liberator is my favorite bomber. “Hornby Hoddies Ltd” bought AirFix models in the early 2000’s and have been focused on making it a real competitor to the other high-end famous brands of model makers. This is why this B-24 model looks so good.

I've been in two of the still flying B-24's "Witchcraft" and "Diamond Lil" .... on the Ground! My Dad had 30 Round Trip Flights in the 445th Bomb Group B-24 "Bunnie" during WW II. The same Group as Jimmy Stewart!

Awesome job! I've always loved the liberator. She's an unsung hero of the war. The B-17s and Lancasters got all the glory(love them too), but the B-24 just chugged along, bombing away lol

Great! Just one suggestion : I am pretty sure that the black on wings and horizontal tail leading edge was the classic anti ice Goodrich system made of inflatable rubber, so it was not subject to peel off like normal paints.

I visited Hannants a few years ago and wondered around the front office pretty unimpressed until one of the staff mentioned the warehouse at the back. WOW...it was like going into Raider of the Last Ark model warehouse floor-to-ceiling boxes of kits!!!
