I had earlier taken a video of this species. It was found in a culture of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii that I have on hand. It is currently unknown if it attacks the algae. I am not certain of the species or even the genus, but I believe this is a rare find in the Filastera class. The Filastera contains species which are the second most related to multicellular life after the Choanoflagellata, and there are only a few known species. Let me know if you know anything about what this might be.

Some further research indicates this might also be of the genus Parvularia. The best description I currently have is a bacterivorous spherical amoeboid with many very long filose pseudopodia.
