I recently used FSD to get to an address with a permanent road closure. It performed a U-turn on a busy street with no issues and took me to my destination.

I love how you broke down the XAI735x project in your video! Can’t wait to see it soar!

Gratitude. Arrival OST now on. Very nice lane change behind the Santa Claus car at 6:06. Kool experiment at the [dead] end of the video. Maybe needs more moving vehicles/ pedestrians around to make it a full stress test? Thanks again and have a Great Week!

Just took delivery of a new LR M3. I set my LED lights' color to hot pink. Love the effect at night. Eagerly waiting for v13.

Thank you both for this. Very informative. I can’t wait for v31.2 to drop in my car.

Nice to see first reversing behaviour but disappointed about the 3-point turn. Hopefully we will see big improvements in the next few sub releases 😎

I am hoping they addressed the major issues I have with 12.5.6.3 with FSD 13. One was not slowing down for school zone speed limits. At least twice everyday, I have to disengage because the car won’t slow down to 15MPH during school hours. Second is slowing down fast enough from speed limit changes. I’ll be riding in a 2 lane highway going 60MPH in a 55 posted zone, and then the posted limit changes to 40, sometimes with a police officer watching in a speed trap, and the car will still cruise at 60 like nothing happened, even after 15 seconds or longer. How FSD handled speed management was fine before, but somewhere in 12.x, they broke speed control. I still often get phantom braking from semi’s on the interstate and sometimes emergency swerving by the car to avoid large “stationary” healthy and upright trees along the side of the road. I am on HW4 so hopefully it will get better in 13.

Finally v13 is here and not just the basic one but v13.2

Finally reverse. It will soon be able to do 3-point turns. The final missing capability is navigating gates.
This is key in regards to being able navigating deadly railway crossings.

Woah that’s the same Home Depot & Vons shopping center that I go to, I can’t wait to try this when I go get groceries there.

I wash my Model Y regularly and when FSD decides to use the wipers, the window usually gets dirtier. It’s not that easy to clean the wiper blades.

Hopefully this arrives on Hardware 3 in the not so distant future. I have 12.5.4.2 and I've had to intervene more in the last few days than I ever did before. It keeps braking hard at green lights.

Phantom braking on V12 scares the 💩 out of me. Enough that I have brown stains on my seat.

My opinion of FSD 13.2 shows readiness, on a scale from 1 to 10: 1 - Not working, 3 - Working, not useful, 5 - Good, 9 - Like human, 10 - Better than human. From what seen so far of v13 and still some of opinions are from v12.

Overall score: 7. While it is comprehensive, it remains somewhat unsettling as it continues to make serious mistakes, though less frequently.
7 - Highway: Performs well, but with issue in winter conditions.
8 - Exit from Highway: Works perfect most time
9 - Change Lane: Generally effective, but occasional issues.
9 - Intersection: Handles most scenarios smoothly.
9 - Roundabouts: Navigate effectively, though not flawlessly.
5 - Parking Lots: Functional but can struggle with complexity.
3 - Parking on the Street: Needs better spot finding to avoid blocking traffic.
8 - Reverse Parking: Decent, but slow.
5 - Gate: Needs significant improvement for reliability.
7 - Signal to Other Cars: Generally good, but improvements are needed.
7 - Left Turn: Handles most left turns well.
7 - Unprotected Turns: Works perfect most time.
5 - Speed Bumps: Recognizes and slows down appropriately.
3 - Constructions on Road: Needs better detection and navigation.
6 - Road Blocks: Struggles to handle unexpected obstacles.
8 - Rain: Performs adequately, but not in heavy rain.
4 - Snow: Limited capability in snowy conditions.
5 - Fog: Manages light fog, and struggles with heavy fog.
4 - Other Cars Breaking Rules: Handles some scenarios, but not all.
8 - Pedestrians: Good at detecting and reacting.
5 - Other Road Vehicles: Adequate, but can be improved.
7 - Traffic Lights: Generally accurate, occasional misreads.
7 - Driving Smoothness: Mostly smooth, with minor jerkiness at times.
2 - Potholes or debris on the road: I don't see any lower speed or avoid
7 - Speed Limits: Need improvement it good to follow the traffic
3 - Emergency Vehicles: Not recognized can be improved.
7 - Supervision: Until no supervision on normal drive get higher points.
6 - Front Parking: Improvements are needed.
5 - Reverse in Street: Significant challenges remain.
7 - Actual Smart Summon(ASS):
1 - Self-park(Banish):
1 - Ferry Crossings:
6 - Train Crossings:
1 - Charging Stations:

My assessment is open for discussion, but this is my opinion based on the videos that have been published so far. If there haven't been any new updates, I base this on earlier versions. I assume my opinion may change in the future, but right now, I don't see any area where FSD is as good as or better than a human driver, even though it can sometimes surpass humans in certain scenarios. Parking and drop-offs remain some of the biggest challenges for FSD.
