A fourth temporary channel is opening for the Port of Baltimore one month after the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed. Two victims of the collapse still have not been recovered as crews continue to remove the wreckage. Col. Estee Pinchasin, Baltimore District commander for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, joined CBS News to discuss the recovery.

There was a proposal build protections around the those main supports and they didn't move forward cuz they considered it too expensive. I wonder how expensive replacing the whole bridge is going to be??

4th channel are open a lot more plan and work to be done to remove the pieces after the bridge collapsed last month and the pieces taken off the ship before moving and then it will take years to rebuild this bridge

These Men And Women Have A Daunting Task That Is Two Fold. One Is To Widen The Channel That Is Being Used, Then Move That Ship In Order To Bring In A Lot More Crane Equipment And Open The Full PORT. Building A New Bridge Is Another Issue Completely.
