How To Wire ANL FUSE HOLDER

This is a do it yourself ANL fuse howto video, in this case it was for car audio wiring.

0 gauge wire, 300a fuse, fuse holder for car. Tools needed will be shown in the video.

In this video we will be using 0awg wiring & fitting an inline ANL 300a fuse holder for amp. Whether you have an amp kit or amplfiier kit or just a separate fuseholder, and need to know how to wire the fuse, I will be showing you how to swap fuses and install the power wire inline.

What fuse size do I need for my power wires? See below.
Max fuse size recommended:
10awg 30amps
8awg 50amps
6awg 80amps
4awg 125amps
2awg 200amps
0awg 325amps

Good tutorial on installing, I personally like to use a ferrule on the end of the wire just for a better connection

I like the ring terminals better than the ones you have to use bare wires, I feel more secure, having ring terminals but some of those fuses are not designed for ring terminals I'm trying to find one that does for my big 3.. other than that this is an awesome tutorial..

When this is hooked up does it have lights in it? I have an installgear fuse holder on my boat stereo. I believe it used to light up. It no longer does and I get no sound. Trying to figure out if that's the issue?

Can you run safely a 0 gauge lead on your fuse holder with the rest of the wiring being 4 gauge?

So one side of the fuse holder 0 gauge and the other side 4 gauge
