The fact that _Adventure Time_ and _Star vs. The Forces of Evil_ used to be on the same room on Nickelodeon before moving to their respective channels is interesting. Knowing the fate of other Nicktoon shows, both of these shows managed to dodge the bullet.

The fact that this show was pitched for the three leading kids networks is such a crazy fact. I mean...I doubt the Cartoon Network version would ever surface, but still. This is cute and pretty funny and, wow, Boris looks to be a Buffrog prototype, even got the Russian accent and everything.

ok as far as I remember, this was using the first idea that Star was a normal human girl pretending to be a princess and doing magic, all of the creatures were her imagination And Marco(Sol) was like fan of fighting animes (dbz style) So I get why it got rejected and it's fine cuz it got a great change... with a sadly awful ending;

I keep rewatching this wishing there was more of this version of the show
I love the how goofy it is, I love this version of Stars characterization, I love her voice acting so much especially!!
It’s so short yet tells me so much!!
It really feels like it could’ve gone in the direction of something like Making Fiends and/or El Tigre!
And I love this art style especially and how expressive Star’s facial expressions are!!
And yes I even love Boris, may he rest in development hell :’)
