There was a pigeon egg in my window.. and both their parents. I bought them a house, built shade and gave rice and pearl millet daily.. mommy pigeon was scared of me.. so I never touched her or shifted the baby bird to warmer place.. I thought the baby would do fine with its mom.. but I found it dead within 4 days. 😔 I should have been more careful or educated myself about taking proper care of baby pigeons. Thanks for the videos, I'll learn from it and if mother nature gives me an opportunity again; I'll take the proper care of the beautibeautiful birdies!!

I saw a pigeon laying it’s egg under a tree in my back yard so after she laid it she went away and the next day she came back but she didn’t sit on the egg and after the didn’t come for a long period of time so I was concerned and took the bird in too raise it because I’m afraid the egg will get too hot so this is very informative

I am amazed you were able to hand feed it, I have always heard that hatching pigeons is nearly impossible due to the need for pigeon milk from the parents, I assume you got some kind of formula that perfectly mimics it.

This is an awesome video! What a beautiful bird. I know I’m a year late but I’m looking for some advice if you wouldn’t mind. I was away from home for a few weeks and come back to pigeon nest with 2 eggs on my counter in my kitchen - I left the window open. Needless to say the pigeons flew off… I’m on a flat so can’t put the nest out. I have the eggs under a lamp in a cardboard box. I’m not sure when they were laid. What recipe did you use for the formula? Thank you.

Thank you.. i had an abandoned pigeon egg didnt make it out recently.. i taught they hatch out on itself..
i just started. Last month 2 pigeons perfectly made it. This month 1 came out early within 2 weeks i found him dead in the pigeonhouse. After that parents left the other egg did not make it.. i wonder what and how it happend 😞
