So I took the ending as Richard found Carrie and they went back to his room. Carrie found the gun and shot him and tossed him overboard. Because the gun was found wrapped in Lo’s clothes which Carrie was wearing.

Agreed. Yea def an odd ending. Some of it seemed obvious. Also, most of the book was great. The lead up was great but the actual “shocking storyline” wasn’t that strong. Kind of disappointing

1st let me say, I was really scared to read this book because everyone hyped it up so much and I really thought I was going to be disappointed like, “The Guest List”. OMG!!!! OMG!!!! OMG!!!! OMG!!!! I COULD NOT WAIT TO WRITE THIS REVIEW! But WOW!!! I just finished this book in 2 days because it was that good. If you follow my reviews on Instagram you already know I love a good psychological thriller, but this book was down right creepy. it has been a while since I finished a book this fast. This is a book that will keep you up at night wanting to read more. The writing was great. Chapter 22 had my head spinning, and chapter 23 makes for a great movie. This is my 3rd Ruth Ware book and I am not stopping any time soon. She did not miss a beat with this book. If you are looking for a great thriller add this one to your list and if you already have it on your list move it closer to the top. TRUST ME!!! Let’s talk about that ending, if you have already read this book please come to my DM so we can talk about that ending. After reading the ending my head flew back and I was speechless for a minute and then I just yelled out did a great job keeping me at the edge of my seat with this thriller. I LOVED THIS

The book has a confusing and non sense logic, but the most important problem of the book to me was its pace. It was a thriller and was supposed to be fun and exciting, but it was just so boring to me.
