The second book by Ruth Ware, after In a Dark, Dark Wood - her writing is getting better, but I still wasn't the biggest fan of this. Let me tell you why!

I can't get by with dispensable side characters so while the mystery intrigues me I couldn't go into this. I love your reviews!

I read In a Dark Dark Wood and thought it talked big game but didn't deliver. The tension building for the first half was awesome but the ending was so anticlimactic. I was hoping Woman in Cabin Ten would be amazing but it just sounds average. Like you said, hopefully her next one will be better!

Great review! I just finished reading this book yesterday, and rated it 3 stars on Goodreads. I DEFINITELY agree that there was no depth in any of the characters besides Lo. I also didn't think the beginning part where Lo deals with a burglary wasn't necessary for the main plot of the book like you said. I don't think I would recommend this book to others, but that's just my opinion. Thanks for sharing!

Would you say the twist was predictable? This sounds like a frustrating read but I might try to pick it up anyways. I'm feeling spoiled with all these uploads and I'm loving it!

This one doesn't sound like my cup of tea. It seems as if the author missed the depth on this one. I was thinking of listening to this one on audiobook, but now that I've heard your review I won't bother.
