Parts of this don't really make sense:
Scotland isn't isolated from the rest of the UK. It's on the same island as England and Wales, and anyone can travel freely between Scotland and England. Thus, even if it's impossible for the two pseudo-countries to see each other's alerts for some reason, people will talk.
Scotland is in the UK. The alert's wording suggests that Scotland is some distant country that'a engaging in war and diplomacy with the far-away UK -- perhaps a thousand or two miles away, when the actual distance is 0 nanometers.
Also, why is Scotland just revealing everything to its entire populace? It'd be tight-lipped about any war for independence until the moment it actually begins because again, people will talk.

I always thought that a Brexit-related WWIII would begin with other powerful EU member nations like France and Germany doing likewise and fatally weakening the EU in the process. I never expected a British Civil War due to the resentment in places like Scotland and Northern Ireland to escalate into WWIII

Okay, there are several things in this scenario that make no sense:

1. Why would Canada support Scotland against the UK? Since the US is supporting the UK, this means US troops WILL march north, and given this video was made in 2019, Donald Trump would likey use the British Civil War as an excuse to invade and annex Canada, then spin it as "unfinished business from 1812".
2. It makes zero sense for Denmark and Iceland to side against the UK. Scotland, at this juncture, would probably have little, if any, international recognition as an independent country, and Denmark and Iceland, last I checked, are both part of NATO, so they would HAVE to side with the UK, because the UK would quickly invoke Article 5. If Denmark sided against the UK, they would be treated as traitors, and wouldn't last long before Germany marched in and occupied it, while Iceland would probably be starved into submission by American submarines sinking all submarines.
3. Sweden siding with Scotland also makes zero sense. Back in 2019, Sweden hadn't yet applied to join NATO, because Russia hadn't invaded Ukraine yet.
4. The UK's withdrawal from the EU wasn't finalized until January 31, 2020, so EU nations would still have sent help. And even then, most EU nations are also in NATO, so those nations would HAVE to aid the UK.
