The overuse of ‘Welcome to Country’ seems to ‘lack meaning’

Sky News host Rita Panahi says the Aboriginal Acknowledgement of Country seems to “lack meaning” and “genuine sentiment” as “it’s something that’s recited because it has to be”.

“It seems to be this propaganda, this political posturing that everyone has to go along with,” Ms Panahi said.

“You can’t even ask why; what is the point of this?"
