The Swim England Learn To Swim Programme is the national syllabus of learning to swim for primary school, aged children. They are split into progressive stages and are designed to help children towards their development of the essential aquatic skills they need, to be confident, competent and safe in the water.

Swimming is one of the most vital life skills you can learn. Having swimming lessons help to teach people how to swim, learn the benefits of swimming, and educate kids on pool safety.

Each of the Learn to Swim stage awards have a list of outcomes that need to be completed to gain each certificate and badge. These can be achieved by having group swimming lessons or private swimming lessons with a swim instructor at your local swimming pool.

In this video, we at Propulsion Swimming, will look at the outcomes that are needed to achieve the Learn To Swim Stage 2 award.

These are all very well Dan but I need to know the progressive practices for these outcomes for the SE Lvl 2 lesson plans, not so easy for a log roll.

Great videos, but it would be much better if the text was smaller so it doesn't block so much of the picture.

Hey Dan, nice videos but on LTS stage 2, shouldn't the recognised leg action travel be without the use of flotation equipment?

Further to my earlier comment I still can't find anywhere that run swimming lessons for adults that are a convenient time. So can you tell me if the outcomes and stages are the same for an adult who is an aquaphobic? If they are I can teach myself.

just watching your back float, you might want to check out diaphragmatic breathing. I can see your body holding all your air in your chest
