Why I write my books?

People often ask me: What inspired you to write this or that book?

My answer is the same every time. The spark is always a personal existential crisis. Something's going wrong in my life that needs serious attention.

Writing is my remedy. It's how I make sense of the world and figure out the best way to move through it.

Every book I've written so far has helped me overcome the existential crisis in question and come out the other side a better version of myself.

📕 In Praise of Slow taught me how to thrive by putting on the brakes

📕 Under Pressure taught me how to give my children a childhood worthy of the name

📕 The Slow Fix taught me how to solve thorny problems (starting with back pain!)

📕 Bolder taught me how to embrace ageing as an adventure

Best of all, my books don't just help me get back on track: they do the same for readers all over the world.

What will my next book be about? 🤔

When another existential crisis hits, I'll let y'all know...
