I think that Ellen experienced a lot of things as a young woman and a lesbian that made her feel very vulnerable and ashamed of her female body. But instead of pointing to those who mistreated her and calling them out, she went to war against her body for being female. It's very sad. I really hope she can find peace.

This is so hard to watch. My niece took her life after 6 months of testosterone. Gone forever. Page has no joy, imo. The pain is so great, and I’m no expert. Just a retired RN. I was on X for a bit and there were a few accounts helped my grief. My niece was loved and smart but in deep depression. She needed mental health intervention, not automatic hormone injections. Bless them all. I hope they live to get back to themselves. Shame on Winfrey. Such a dark ugly soul in this universe.
