This geometry nodes setup makes the process of creating hair cards for games and realtime rendering a lot easier.

I really am impressed by the amount of work that went into this project. I purchased it n Gumroad and after a few hours, I think I have a decent understand of how to use this system.

It took me a little while to figure out how to change the hair color, perhaps in a future REV make selection of color range one of the more accessible inputs instead of requiring editing the geo nodes?

Also, I have figured out out how to modify the hair cards and add/remove hair cards from the sources. However, I have checked the geo nodes and one thing I have not been able to figure out is how to alter the distribution of hair cards being assigned to the hair curves (or if there is a way to manually assign a specific hard card to a curve). It seems like it's an even and random distribution but I was wondering if there was any way to maybe control it via the nodes, maybe assigning higher percentages to certain hair cards. Just curious if anyone has figured this out.

Maybe there would be an option to add elements for more parting lines for more intricate and creative haircuts. Essencially a small block that the users can create more of, that contains the parting line block, and then you can choose seveal lines.

Alternatively, will it work if the parting line is not one and not connected? AKA if there are several lines on the skull? (need to test that, just watghing the full video first)

This is awesome and answers to all my current haircard making problematics, but I'm having trouble replacing the head you made with my character's, not sure what I'm doing wrong but once I replace it, the hair cards no longer appear on the new curves I make (even if I copy your curve's attributes to them)

Hi Daniel, love your geonodes setup and for that matter your haircards blend file. I am having some issues though and I was wondering if there is a way to contact you. The issue is, my haircards does not start at the root, there is slight offset. The haircard are therefore not attached to the mesh. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thank you,

Hello Daniel, do you still use that hair card with particle instance modifier in a particle system? You did a Blender livestream about this a few years ago, It seemed like something very promising and simpler to work with, but I've never seen anything like it again.

READ THIS IF YOU'RE STRUGGLING WITH THE ALPHA OF THE HAIR CARDS IN CYCLES: You need to increase transparent bounces, 20 should do it.
