I have one of these and it drives superbly. The supercharged power is addictive, the steering precise and the handling is the best of any car I have owned (including four BMWs).

I know you said it's not a proper review, but to get a fair commentary on a Jaguar you really have to drive the beast. They are designed and engineered for a dynamic driving experience.

PS -It's not a 'Power Tailgate' there are no electrics making it open - it's fully mechanical and VERY simple to do on older models.

I love the looks of the XF but not that interior. They just introduced a faceliffted version with a much nicer interior (including an actual gearshift lever) plus the latest digital gauges and infotainment. This is actually 5 series sized and the smaller XE is their 3 series competitor. Unfortunately they only sell the 4 cylinder version now (abd they dropped the XE for the US atleast) :(. Like you said, most people are probably just going to get one of the Germans. If they’d dropped their supercharged v8 into this I’d seriously consider it

Thinking about change my 535 to this. My 535 is tuned to 460 heavily modified but i want to go to another brand to see. Saw one had 380hp. Same colour scheme. Im confuse thou. I see xfs with 340hp but then another one with 380hp. One is supercharge one is twin turbo. Can someone explain? Why both call s then
