In this video, I teach world renowned beatboxer Stitch' (Michael Gabriel Smith) the best breathing technique and how to expand his range. He teaches me, a Vocal Coach, how to do his famous polyphonic singing!

His beautifully positive attitude and excitement to learn leaves me with no questions as to why he has ended up as skilled as he has so far, at such a young age. I loved the opportunity to practice the polyphonic voice too, I even make a little progress right at the end!

If we are meeting for the first time, HELLO GORGEOUS! I'm Lolli, a voice teacher and vocal anatomy nerd specialising in contemporary techniques. I have a degree in vocal performance, and I am studying for a masters degree in voice pedagogy. I sing aaaall the time! Pop, jazz, rock, metal, soul, Hindustani, Carnatic and I am constantly learning and practicing new vocal skills. I just bloody love singing. I feel like beatboxing over the past 15 years has evolved dramatically when i compare what i listened to back then and what beatboxers are capable today. If more passionate vocalists would work together with beatboxers i think AI music won't have a chance. The Capabilities of the human body altho thought limited seem more and more able to evolve the more awareness people achieve. Its so Awe inducing considering beatboxers can do sounds that are usually only possible with artifical electronic tools or even sounds that didnt exist yet. Work like this can become the Vanguard for new future music and i will joyfully witness its evolution.
