Except for the typo error, I find the explanation very helpful. I have read so many books about logic but had difficulty understanding their definition of how exactly a term is distributed. When you said that a term is distribute when it "SAYS something definition about ALL members of that category, " I immediately got it. Nobody, not even my logic professors described it that way. Thanks a bunch!

Mick, I've looked at this subject many times, got the gist but it never sticks when I come back to it later. You explain it so well that I know it will stick permanently. Thank you for posting.

The “not” in the O claim makes the P unambiguously categorical (distributed) while the P in an I claim is just about some P for some S (both undistributed).

This video is a diamond.
It is so clear and bringing clarity to such a confusion subject.
Thank You Sir :)

At 2:00 it says that an I-statement’s predicate is distributed. I’m sure that’s just a typo.

The O claim distribution is a bit confusing, how is it distributed if the P in the I isnt?

Good catch! The summary that fades in is incorrect at about 2:00. As you point out neither S nor P are distributed in an I claim.

Thank you for the summary on distribution it's exactly what I needed

I don’t understand why the predicate in a I claim isn’t distributed but the predicate in an O claim is. What’s stopping me from claiming that for All timid things at least one of them is a frog?

Distribution is about categories of things. Some S doesn’t say something about all S. But not P says something about all Ps. Not one of them is an S. If I say not one piece of candy in this box has nuts in it I’m saying something about all nuts in the box (distributed property). If I said some of these boxes have candy with nuts I haven’t said something about all these boxes (not distributed).
