Having watched this entire lecture series, I am pleased these vignettes are released to remind us of different teachings. Dr Heiser is greatly missed but by God’s grace we are able to continue to learn from His faithful servant.

Just came across your videos and I am sad to know of your passing. You are now with the Lord so I should be happy for that. God bless people who go out of their way to shed truth in this corrupt world. 🙏

Elohim is a collective consciousness of the highest form and are considered to be the architects of this reality. They have established the design of many different realities in both material and non-material forms to allow consciousness to incubate and evolve.

Elohim is therefore perceived by us and many others to be a creator collective, a consciousness that is considered to be God in some traditions. They provide supervision, balancing, and continued observation of their own creations.

As one of the original seeders of human consciousness, Elohim carries an important role in humanity’s existence and has chosen to support us at this pivotal time in our awakening and consciousness evolution.

“We have assisted humanity as part of one of our creations in its evolution. We are the architects of this reality, of this world, of space and time, of the material experience, of consciousness.” – ELOHIM

Angelos or Άγγελος is also used for human beings at times, you can be the angelos of the king, ie the king’s messenger. So when using it for the elohim you need context to b sure you are actually talking about the angelic race. Angelos is also used for the lord Jesus Christ in preincarnate theophanic form in some verses as “the angel (messenger) of the Lord”. Thanks for the video - I was debating about 1Sa 28 to determine whether Samuel was actually summoned or this was demonic chicanery because someone had posted a meme stating that it is impossible to contact the spirit of a dead person and it is always demons impersonating them when we hear about it, which I’m not totally convinced of yet, but I was thinking of the verse about the witch of Endor and when I read the interlinear and saw that word “elohim” it threw me off and I wasn’t sure how it was being used, but I thought it could refer to angels (fallen) impersonating Samuel. Someone pointed me to this video.

As usual key info is left out, including how the Sanhedrin judges were also called “elohim” in Exodus (Hebrew txt, none of the translations I’ve seen ever translate it consistently) as a reflection of the spiritual Elohim above. Similarly there are heavenly messengers (malakim/angels) and earthly messengers.

Mr. Heiser, thanks for the clarification. I don't understand why this stuff is such a stumbling block for Christians. What in the world is going on?

In the Bible, the Hebrew word for God is El meaning strong one and refers to the true God. It also refers to angels and to other gods and goddesses venerated as such by humans. With reference to the true GOD Jehovah(English) the word El at times appears with the definite article ha•'El' meaning 'THE GOD' separating Jehovah from all the other so call 5:47 ed gods. The word Elohim on the other hand is the plural for many gods. However, when used with reference to Jehovah the word denotes excellence. Again, separating the true GOD from all other gods.

Adam is also referred to as the "son of God". Elohim is hebrew for mighty ones plural and is used for men and spirit beings. Elohim is not a term referring to a place of residence.

God isn't a name but a title. In the same way that "mom" or "dad" aren't names, but titles. The ancient Hebrews used the title Elohim, which means "spiritual being". There are many "Elohims" or "spiritual beings", such as God, Cherebim, Seraphim, Angels, Demons etc. These are all still titles, though. One Demon is Satan. Satan is His name. One Angel is Gabriel. God told us His name is YAHWEH, or "I am". God or "Elohim" is the greatest of all Elohims, though. The Hebrews said He was the "Elohim of Elohim".

Other words for Elohim are "Sons of God" or the "Divine Council". Cherabim are composite beings, having four wings, the body of a man, the feet of calves and faces of either an ox, an eagle, a man or a lion. They act as Guardians of God's presence. For example, they guard His throne, they also sit on His Mercy Seat atop the Ark of the Covenant, called "Cherebim of Glory". But their central purpose is to sit near God's throne and to guard and serve Him. They are commanding beings and not to be messed with. Angels are God's messengers and Guardians of humans. They do not have wings and look like humans, just more impressive. They have intelligence, emotion and will. They praise and worship and serve God, rejoice in what God does, appear before God, are instruments of God’s judgment, bring answers to human prayers, aid in winning humans over to Christ, encourage humans in times of danger and care for the righteous at their time of death. They will often appear to humans as an unexpected person coming to their assistance, then when that person turns around to thank that mysterious friend, they have vanished into thin air...

In my understanding, Elohim represents the pinnacle of creation, surpassing conventional interpretations of divinity typically associated with the term 'God.' Through my direct communion with Elohim, I've come to perceive a profound truth: Elohim transcends traditional understandings of deity, existing as supreme spiritual beings and cosmic creators.

It's imperative to recognize the limitations inherent in many religious texts, which have undergone numerous revisions throughout history, potentially omitting essential insights and truths. Instead of relying solely on these texts, I advocate for direct engagement with Elohim, urging individuals to seek spiritual understanding through personal communion rather than through the interpretations of others.

While direct communication with Elohim offers unparalleled insights, I also acknowledge the value of studying religious texts within their historical and cultural contexts. Despite their limitations, these texts often contain valuable wisdom and moral teachings that can complement one's spiritual journey.

In essence, my perspective emphasizes Elohim as the ultimate source of spiritual truth, encouraging a balanced approach that embraces personal revelation alongside the wisdom preserved in religious traditions. By fostering a deeper connection with Elohim and respecting the insights offered by religious texts, individuals can embark on a spiritually enriching journey guided by the highest of divine beings.
