RIP, I loved his style when I fought Kyokushin competitively late 80s and early 90s. Despite not winning any world championships but he was a hero for most of us. I was very saddened with news of him passing away.

Regardless of never really won any major titles/tournament, Kurosawa is my all time favorite Kyokushin fighter.
Tsukamoto Norichiga is also another interesting one to cover since imo he’s the one who pioneered those new breeds of fighters with his tricky kicks&footwork.

I really wish I would've known about Kyokushin a long time ago. This is real Japanese karate. Tough, brutal fighting.

Today it will be weight lifting. Later in the day meditation in the snow. Tomorrow it will be Kyokushin. This video motivated me. Osu! PS.I like the music you use. Touching and beautiful. Not that hysterical music that's always used in all the other videos.

Unlike the body that's thought to be good looking but fragile,
Kurosawa's Body was strong especially around upper front.

Hard styles=lower longevity...I could tell he sacrificed his speed from his youth and turned it into raw power (slower). Many powerful strikers who also bulked up to levels beyond their physique tend to suffer ill health later in life...shame...RIP

you, know it a pity that Kyokushin is not more well known. It is a superior martial art for sure. I am a BJJ BB and love to watch these guys. All the fanboys rattle on about Bruce Lee, he wouldn't have lasted a minute with these guys.
