I like my ACE 350, found a Susan B Anthony dollar bill with it among a few other things.  Great detector for the price.

I had the pleasure of meeting Geoff Notkin from the Meteorite Men When he brought his broken detector to my shop for repair. I got influenced to do some meteorite hunting myself and have found a couple of good prospects i still have to send to a lab for testing.Any who, don't pass up looking into identifying meteorites as some can be $20 a gram. Just something to add to your travels.

If you are looking in a dry river you should listen for mid tones . That would be gold . The bell tone is for coins . The in side bens of the river is where the gravel is where most gold in a rive will be .

Hearing loss is cumulative. Enough .22 over time and it could become a problem. Good video - enjoyed it!

Yes any detector will help. and you need a rare earth mag and hopefully a nickel testing kit.The nickel testing kit is easy to get because they are used for testing nickel content in rings due to allergies people can have.

Cool vid, I owned a 10/22 Ruger for many years, shot lot of go4s. The ACE350 is the EURO ACE in Canada, which is silly as the detector just has a different face and depth is in centimeters.

thanks for the idea :) I did find that penny under a tree and seems like a no brainer now that I think back on where I was diggin...people need shade in the desert as well as bandits or whatever would use them as markers too I bet.
