I am from a different country and here is how my mom asks me to buy potato:-
1) Shape doesn't matter size does ( just in case if bigger one is bad from inside, we will loose a bigger potato, so buy medium sized)
2) Buy drier old skin potato, they have better flavour, less sticky, less sweet but more survivablity.
3) No black spot or shoot growth when buying.

Potato is a hearty meal at my home, love those Sunday when my mom makes potato paratha (indian cuisine)

I was working at a potato farm and there was a potato found that looked similar to the boss😄he’s Russian and his name was Nick… so we kept it and named it Spudnick😆

I once grew some potatoes from a stem that grew from a bag and surprisingly it actually worked. I didn't know they could grow in such odd shapes but you know what it was delicious!
