Hi Andrew, I've been enjoying your wood-turning page and have picked-up some great tips/knowledge - your delivery is calm and honest and the video quality/editing is excellent - well done that man! Good to see you getting into metalworking too - hope you've made a dust-proof cover for your lathe! Will continue to watch everything that you are kind enough to post, many thanks for everything thus far.

The more correct way to install the quick change tool post is to remove the pin and spring from the base plate - they just pull out. That way you can freely turn the quick change tool post without it getting stuck on the pin. Then, instead of using the nut that comes with the quick change tool post, use the handle/nut from the original tool post. It makes using it so much easier.

Hello,
You seem to have a great grinder setup for your HSS lathe tool.
Could we have a video on that?
Thank you!

how do you align the tailstock with the center of the chuck? I ordered the 0XA set, waiting for it to come now. someone suggested putting a punch or scribe in the chuck and aligning the tool height like that
