I bet that self-adhesive backing is going to peel off after a while, especially if there is any tension on it from the cable

I had to do this with a ceiling fan install even though I had access to the attic space, couldn't run the wire through the ceiling, so I used this. here in the states, we call it "Wiremold" surface mounting trunking for home and business... very handy stuff! sold it for years and still love using it when needed.

In the US a plastic raceway like that is not codes compliant for line voltage applications because people here lack common sense and someone might take an axe to it

I use this for wall mounting TVs, projectors. It can be painted to better blend in. Can get hdmi, power and coax into it.

Self-adhesive dont last long in coutries with hotter climates.

Lovely I do like PVC trunking that De Line looks fantastic just don’t like the self adhesive strip on the back as the adhesive can dry out then you have the trunking falling off the wall . And yes it does happen .
