This song is very annointed. Her voice adds something very special to the song. Especially the part in the bridge when it says “and the Church of Christ was born”. There is something about singing with power and authority. It’s very important and beautiful. She is an amazing singer and may God keep glorifying himself through her. I love listening to her sing. I am so thrilled that Brooke and Scott really dove in on making a scripturaly based worship tune. My Presbyterian church loves this song. I think there is a lot of desire to celebrate emotion and euphoria of the love of God that has been expressed over the years by Hillsong, but I know many churches shy away from singing Hillsong tunes that are just about our feelings about God rather than theology. Thank you for bringing the talent of a Hillsong performance to a worship song that teaches the entire story of Jesus. What a verse...brings me to tears and gives me goosebumps every time I hear this. Praise God for this song. I miss songs like these. Many songs now adays are not anchored on the word but on feelings and emotions. The beauty of songs engraved with scripture cannot be erased even if ions pass by.
