I was lying down watching my twin babies sleeping and thinking of ways to end this suffering. I fail them everyday as their mother. As soon as I saw this young woman (Chidima) I dropped in to stupid sterotyping mode and braced myself for Aretha type black sistah gospel music. Then the most beautiful, compelling, staggeringly lovely voice from within her rose; the glorious sound of a human glacier. Good lord - it was enough to make my noodles slide off the fork. The other ladies peovided a perfect acompaniment, and they brought the most heartfelt joy to me.

This evening, I am so happy and feeling so very blessed and favored! Tomorrow is my 70th birthday. I have had a feeling in my spirit that something wonderful was going to happen. And, it did. My beautiful nieces surprised me and showed up at my front door, just in time for dinner. The eldest, who is 60 flew from north Idaho to see me! All the way to Arizona. The younger one, who is 59, lives 20 minutes from my home. I’ll tell you something, I about passed out when I saw them. I had no idea. The adrenaline that shot through my body, mixed with indescribable love was almost more then I could handle. Jesus knew the whole time. And, not gonna go into it, but it’s been an unbearable year. My faith is on fire. And, I am thankful and praising Jesus at the same time. I feel so blessed and beyond humbled. Then I get into bed tonight and this beautiful song, one of my favs, is in my feed. God is so good to me and so faithful. I have been crying out to Him for His special brand of caring. There’s lots more to this story. 60 years deep. Oh how I love these nieces, words cannot describe., I’m thinking right this moment, , , what will I do when I come face to face with King Jesus?!!! I’m pretty certain I will have the same feeling, only multiplied by 1 trillion and beyond. Jesus, I love you! Thank you so much for this extra special gift on my 70th birthday.
