I really wish they did a PRO4x version of this truck, I like the ride and drivetrain. I worked for a Nissan service department for 15 years and never saw a drivetrain failure. A off road version of this SUV would be on the top of my list.

Recently purchased a '21 Armada Platinum. Love the vehicle. Side note, I am 6'2" and can fit comfortably in the 3rd row when you recline the seats back. Nice thing is that there are dual controls both on the seat armrest and behind for the 3rd row.

We've owned 3 Armadas and loved all of them. Yes, the gas mileage stinks but that's our only complaint. Otherwise, they are terrific all around vehicles and the power train is hard to beat.

For hauling trucks are the way because I don’t have to worry about interiors that can get grimy. Love trucks for that reason.

Actually, ford hasn't redesigned or refreshed the expedition, as it was redesigned in 2018. I'm expecting a mid-cycle refresh soon, now that there's a new F-150, which is what the expedition is based on.

Stephen, For hauling I would say a SUV and a utility trailer would be the best approach. Keeping a sturdy tarp inside your SUV at all times is an excellent way to maximize cargo capability while protecting interior appointments. Congratulations on passing 40K Subscribers!!!!

Such as unappreciated and underrated Truck.. There are so many Videos that show off roading and extreme challenges that this Armada (not Patrol) can take. BEAUTIFUL ENGINE!!! NO Recalls and no heavy expensives for my 2017 Armada with 72, 000 miles, brought it with 19k miles for 58k

Just got the new Armada 21 Platinum. Love it. Just to add I prefer an SUV to haul things 😊😊

Pickups are much better dirty haulers because its a big external box and you don't care about damaging your interior (or bringing in bugs). The suburban on the other hand is designed to take standard sized sheets of 4x8 building materials like a longbed HD truck, then you still have 3 rows on the weekend. When my friend moved recently the movers showed up with a box truck and a Yukon XL and they put so much stuff in the Yukon it was unreal. Personally half ton pickup trucks are pretty pointless these days. Midsize trucks do their job of payload better, any real work you should probably get a 3/4th ton and for the 2-3 times a year home depot home project warrior, an SUV (or minivan) will be your best bet. I wanted a pickup truck since I was a little boy (like 5) but I have a jeep grand cherokee and other than the length, not being able to fit a standard size door in there, I've had absolutely no issue doing what I need with an SUV and for the 2-3 times a year I really need more I could rent a truck or buy a trailer. The payload and towing is there in these full size SUV's and they are infinitely better to drive day to day, especially the american ones with full 4 corner independent suspension.

Nice refresh. Still some underlying things that make it show it’s age... tiny sunroof, ridiculously slow power folding third row and it needs a couple extra cogs in the transmission to help fuel economy.
Great to see the brake controller.
Love the Nissan V8 though and the Patrol platform is proven around the world.

For hauling stuff I'd choose a long ford transit with the 3.5 ecoboost. It can fit 12 foot lumber, has a payload as good as an f-150, an interior that you won't mind getting dirty and all your cargo is protected from the elements and locked securely and it can be had with AWD. As long as it doesn't have to do duty as a daily driver, this would be my choice for hauling stuff. Heck, if you get the tall roof and the long body you could probably put a small quad and a couple of dirt bikes in it.

Looks good...as long as it dnt have any Renault parts in it, it will be reliable...

I prefer a pickup truck. I think a pickup is a Swiss army knife. I go 🏕⛺ camping...I can put my portable black/Grey tank in the box. I can fill the box with fire 🪵 wood. With a tonneau or cap and a locking tailgate, all is under lock and key. I think it is hard to beat a pickup truck.

It's nice but, the GM's win with fuel mileage, 3rd row seating, packages and options, and numerous other things. Good rig if you want to buy Nissan though.

I really like this color combination of the dark red with tan interior. I'm not a fan of the Diamond tufted seats but excellent SUV overall.

So far I have 04 Tahoe suv that I haul my passengers and a large tuba.Take out the third row seats and fold down second row seats and I haul quite a bit of school horns (30) in variety size for summer repairs to my shop, also hauled old concrete bricks and patio stones to the dump. But my next vehicle I will go a mid size truck and haul more rugged stuff, like snowblower, lawn mower for servicing .Try it to fit a new snowblower last year to put in the Tahoe and it didn’t clear the opening of the hatch, so the next day I got my sons small pickup truck to load the blower.

My kids love third row they "fight" for it and never complain. I guess being farther from parents is worth sacrifices.😉
