Road to London: Day 47
Location: Oslo
Experience: Things to do in Oslo - Vigeland Sculpture Park, Parliament Building, Holmenkollbakken

Today, we have our breakfast & head out with a bucket list of things to do in Oslo. We first visit the Vigeland Park or Vigeland Sculpture Park, the world's largest sculpture park by the Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland. It attracts more than a million visitors every year & has over 200 sculptures made out of bronze, cast iron & granite. The Daily Mail described them as “the weirdest statues in the world” as some of the statues include A Man Throwing Woman Over His Head, Babies attacking a man, A father struggling with parenthood responsibilities, etc. The sculptures at Vigeland Park depict an entire range of human emotions & claim to be a reflection of life. Interestingly, Gustav Vigeland is also known for designing the Nobel Peace Prize medal.

Post the visit to Vigeland Sculpture Park, we also visited the Parliament building & Holmenkollbakken, a large ski jumping hill located at Holmenkollen in Oslo.
