It's a colossal squid. An animal that exists in real life. Not even a tenth the size of what you put in the thumbnail, which also isn't the Kraken, but Cthulu.

Não é referência a um Kraken, é uma Lula Gigante (apesar dela provavelmente ter sido confudida com krakens por marinheiros antigos). A baleia Cachalote é um dos poucos predadores desse animal, e a batalha entre os dois acontecem no mar aberto, tanto que nunca foram filmadas. Mas ao contrário do evento no game, provavelmente é a baleia que ataca a lula, até pq ela é o predador em questão. Já o jogo mostrou ela como a vítima.

It would have been cool if, when you try to out of the map, the environment stops you, like a huge storm with constant giant waves and, potentially, krakens attacking your boat instead of just being desyncronized

Guys the kraken is what people called colossal squid before their existence had been proven by more than anecdotes.

Someone in Edward's time and place probably would have called it that.

So I guess it kind of both is and isn't

this game was incredibly fun probably my favorite assassins creed game ever. being able to sail around the ocean on a huge ship and visit islands was really cool
