There's something about the setting of this game. The white sanded beaches, the turquoise waters, sailing on the high seas, the moonlight on the waters surface...the dense jungles, the rugged stone stairs of the Mayan temples. Salty water, Spanish fortresses...

This game WAS my high school years (at least 2014-15 when I was barely starting). I was obsessed with this game and always tried going into Mexico outside of the piece that lets you explore the Yucatán but of course it never let me. I’ve run across the Spanish rooftops of Havana, explored every ruined Mayan temple, climbed every British church in Kingston and Nassau, and roamed the waves giving both empires what for. May this game live on forever in our hearts.

The High Seas 8:31 was like a trance. Sometimes I think the music did all the fighting. Brian Tyler is a master composer.

Just started playing again after 5 years. The music in the main menu instantly gave me chills and i had to hum it with the violins.
I still remember crying when Mary died and also in the end.
This was by far my favourite AC game and one of my favourite videogames ever!
