Porshe 904/6, Volvo P1800, Ford GT40, Jaguar XKSS... Endless possibilities

My list would be sooo different. Not a single Deusenburg, Talbot Lago, Delahaye, Isotta Fraschini, Hispano Suiza or Ruxton among them.

Citroen DS should be slotted ahead of half the cars on this list.

It's missing the Ferrari Daytona Coupé, the Citroën DS, the Lamborghini LP500, the Lancia Stratos, the Buick Riviera...

The Dino: Enzo never called it a Ferrari!

Any list of “most beautiful vintage cars” that doesn’t include a Deusenberg is worthless.

If Enzo Ferrari said the e-type Jaguar was the most beautiful car ever made, its good enough for me

You forgot the Citroen DS
It placed third in the 1999 Car of the Century poll recognizing the world's most influential auto designs and was named the most beautiful car of all time by Classic & Sports Car magazine.

Look it up

We had chargers in Australia then. I almost bought a white 71 fastback as my first car from my best mate whose family owned the wreakers on the Goldie or a Cortina wagon which required little work to be street legal in 1990. The charger was all original even the hemi sang like a dream. The interior however, lacked everything except the gear stick, the screens the pedals, only the steering column and the side mirrors. Everything else was rare to find and more expensive than gold at the time. I feel I would still be looking for parts today and back then, I needed a car. I regretted that decision as soon as I signed the bill of sale. Thank you for including this beautiful car.

No love for the Lancia Stratos? Deusenberg Model J? Packard speedster? Plymouth road runner?

Where is the Avanti?
This fiberglass supercar designed by John Ebstein, Bob Andrews, and Tom Kellogg under direction of Raymond Loewy and with top power provided by a supercharged five-liter Studebaker engine prepared by Andy Granatelli (rumor was that Granatelli wouldn't ship an R3 engine until it had turned 415 BHP on the dyno), it set twenty-nine records at Bonneville Speed Week.
While Studebaker produced 4, 643 examples, only five came from the factory with the R3 engine. The supercharged Studebaker R2 289 (completely different from the similar-size but unrelated Ford 289) was quite a stormer and even the normally aspirated R1 was no slouch in the context of the day.
That the Avanti was the cleanest and most graceful design of the twentieth century doesn't hurt its desirability, either.

Love the way he flings that car around in the dirt and fills the supercharger with grit.

I happily still have my 67 E-Type roadster, which I have owned since 1980 (second owner). I also had a 67 Coupe in high school, which I sold when I joined the Air Force in 72.

The list is not complete, because the Citroën DS is missing.
