Thanks for an excellent overview of serial communications. It is difficult to find this type of a presentation elsewhere. I know you mentioned several problems with each of the protocols. May I suggest a video or webinar on just the problems that can crop up with I2C, SPI and serial seen in some of the common microcontrollers and methods to overcome them.

Nice to see some basics told about those protocols. Also good to see a new host.

The usual points, video quality of the both presenter could be better, as stuard shows in his streams.
About I²S it is more a relative to SPI than to I²C even if they name could lead to this conclusion. With I²S you got a Master /Controller and a Slave / Target where only one drives / generates the clock. But may you can consider a own presentiation about I²S (maybe with another audio themed one?) .
Also note that while most will knwo I²C as Master/Slave, NXP has changed naming to Controller/Target in the latest Spec release.
