Personally, I'm a fan of knobs and buttons over touch screen

EV truck owners using their trucks AS trucks more than ICE truck owners is quite funny.

Does anyone REALLY need a V-12 ICE engine to charge batteries? Gees!

Tesla has had its share of lawsuits because of FSD and autopilot. Even though Tesla tells every driver to remain attentive and keep their hands on the wheel. Can’t wait to see what trouble Ford and GM have with their teachings of “hands free” driving.

The guy that was in charge of giga Shanghai construction (11 months from dirt to production) will be in charge of giga Mexico construction.

I guess it's just me that thought he was going to say that Tesla was going to produce chips and salsa at the new Mexican factory. 😆

Many of those ICE pickups are just pavement princesses 😂

I knew Tesla had to go to Mexico, because Mexico is part of a south american trade alliance, and the USA is not, and if you want to sell your products down south without a huge import duty you have to do this. Mexico is a car manufacturing powerhouse now. Autos are now 20% of Mexico's manufacturing GDP, and growing.

New Renault Espace looks like a SUV in profile, if so it's disappointing.

Renault, Mitsubishi and Nissan need to share more chassis if they want to catch up!

I think these early Lightning buyers are somewhat of a one off. When sales mature I imagine a lot of the buyers will go toward professionals who will use it more or less the same way they used ICE trucks. Right now I think the buyers are relatively wealthy EV enthusiasts.

In defense of Ultra Cruise, eyes on is not an issue in terms of Levels (SAE), it is about the responsibility of the vehicle's operation that is most important, not having human oversight.

I’d love to see hydroneumatic suspensions

Why the hell do we need a glass roof. I want to keep the heat out not allow more in so the air conditioning works over time to keep the car cool. It might be ok for those where it is cool for most of the year.

If GM can beat everyone else worth Cruise then Cadillac and Buick have a chance. If the technology is ready put it in Lyriq and Electra 4 & 5 as a factory add on. Even Chevrolet should have it
